Q: Can the Tanfil 100 concentrate and diafilter simultaneously?
A: Yes. TFF allows permeate to pass through the membrane while retentate is recirculated and concentrated. Buffer can be added simultaneously for continuous diafiltration.

Q: What sample volume can it process?
A: Lab-scale with 500 mL reservoir. With a Pall Minimate capsule, less than 1L per batch is recommended.

Q: Which capsules are compatible?
A: Pall Minimate TFF Capsules, HansaBioMed TFF Hollow Fibers, Sartorius Sartocon Slice 50, and Merck Pellicon XL 50. Contact us for others.

Q: Is it autoclavable?
A: Tubing, PES reservoir, lid, Luer connectors, three-way valves, and stir bar are autoclavable. The main unit is not — use 0.1N NaOH for chemical sterilisation.
