The HPS x MD DigImage System is a compact and cost-effective gel documentation system designed for laboratories that require reliable gel imaging performance without the need for a dedicated computer.
Featuring a rear-mounted digital control panel and standalone operation, it is an ideal solution for laboratories with limited bench space and budget-conscious research environments.
Equipped with a high-resolution 24.1 megapixel digital camera, the DigImage System delivers sharp and detailed gel images for a wide range of molecular biology applications. Images are displayed on a large 8-inch TFT color screen for convenient real-time viewing and monitoring during image capture.
The system supports imaging of agarose gels, fluorescent gels, colorimetric gels, autoradiography films, and blotting membranes, making it suitable for DNA, RNA, protein, and blot analysis workflows. For enhanced laboratory safety, the built-in UV safety switch automatically turns off the UV transilluminator when the front access door is opened.
Captured images can be saved in multiple file formats, including RAW format, allowing easy transfer to a computer for long-term storage, image processing, and analysis. Combining simplicity, flexibility, and high-quality imaging, the Digimage System is an excellent choice for molecular biology, microbiology, biotechnology, and educational laboratories.
