A: Yes, the 410C is suitable for entry-level rotary evaporation workflows with its 25 mbar abs. max vacuum. For more demanding evaporation and deep-vacuum concentration, the 910C (15 mbar abs.) is recommended.

Q: Are the pumps resistant to strong acids and alkalis?
A: The PTFE-coated diaphragm and FKM valves provide good resistance to a wide range of moderately corrosive gases. They are NOT recommended for strong acids (e.g. HF, concentrated H₂SO₄) or strong alkalis. Contact us for chemical compatibility guidance.
Q: Do the pumps require oil or regular maintenance?
